The children’s drawings of Terezin

In the Terezin ghetto, not far from Prague, between 1941-1945, the Nazis interned about 11,000 children and adolescents, before sending them to die…

Most were gassed at Auschwitz, and about 4,000 drawings remain of them, as well as hundreds of poems and tales.

Here are some of their drawings, in memory of the thousands of innocent deaths of Terezin.
